IN-CLASS WORK: During class, when I’m working with the French 3 lessons, you have two
options:
a) you may participate in the French 3 activities that we are doing in class in order to
serve as a review/practice for you, or
b) you may choose to work on the Assignment List or your Literature (below).
LITERATURE (First Semester) : Le Petit Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)
- reading and worksheet activities
HOMEWORK: For French 4/5, your homework assignments are listed on the next page.
You will be using the SCHAUM’S FRENCH GRAMMAR Workbook.
* PLEASE DON’T WRITE IN THE BOOK * (or you will have to purchase it  ).
Please complete homework the following way:
** Be sure to read the notes BEFORE doing each exercise!!
1. Complete all exercises on looseleaf/notebook paper
2. Write the Chapter and # of each EXERCISE and the PAGE NUMBER
3. When FINISHED with each exercise, use the answer key in the back of the workbook
to check your answers.
4. MAKE CORRECTIONS in a DIFFERENT INK COLOR so I can see your errors.
5. If you make a lot of errors, I may ask you to go back and re-do the assignment.
6. Keep all homework in a binder as I will check it WEEKLY for points.
7. Fill out the HOMEWORK CHECKLIST as you go. Keep in your binder.

accompanying question sheets. The worksheets will be due on Fridays. After
each 2-3 chapters we will have a French discussion about those chapters.
