Vows and Ring Exchange ~
Blessing of Exchange of the Wedding Coins ~
The coin represents the fruit of one’s labors and the sum
of material possessions which Michael and Meggan share with one another.
By their mutual offering and acceptance of these coins Michael and Meggan
affirm their total, complete free giving of themselves to each other.
Veil Ceremony ~ Performed by Mr. Reuben Padre & Mrs. Emma Perez
The veil sponsors carefully pin a large veil on top of the
bride’s head and onto the shoulder of the groom. The veil symbolizes unity
and that the couple shall be “clothed as one.”
Cord Ceremony ~ Performed by Mrs. Evangeline Uy & Ms. Lilia FeriaCarriaga
After the veil is placed on both the bride and the groom,
the cord sponsors place a decorative cord loosely around the necks of the
couple in a “figure eight” configuration. The cord represents the lifelong
bond between the bride and groom and symbolizes everlasting fidelity.
The Kiss ~ "You may now kiss the bride"
Nuptial Blessing ~ The priest blesses your new union with a prayer.
Sign of Peace ~ The guests and wedding party exchange a sign of peace, by
shaking hands and saying, "Peace be with you."
Communion ~ Gifts carried by Guia Saulo, mother of groom and Margaret
Whitehouse, aunt of bride in honor of bride’s mother
“Leaving on a Jet Plane” by Peter, Paul and Mary played in honor of bride’s
mother as it forever a reminder of her

Acknowledgements
A special thank you to our parents and siblings for their support, love and
friendship. For our family who could not be with us today, may they know
they have helped make us the human beings we are today and are always in
