High March Bulletin Friday 7th November 2008 House Points so far this half term: Roses 140 Daffodils 136 Shamrocks 131 Thistles 121 From Mrs Clifford I hope that you all enjoyed a happy and restful half term. The second part of the term promises to be action-packed as we enter the Christmas season! Success for High March Senior Voices at the Marlow Music Festival It gives me great pleasure to be able to convey some excellent news in this first bulletin of the second half of term. Our Senior High March Voices are to be congratulated on winning the gold medal in their class at the Marlow Music Festival yesterday. Furthermore, they have been awarded the cup for the best choir overall! We look forward to hearing their pieces in Prayers next week. From the many complimentary comments that I have received from parents who attended the competition, I know how impressive their performances were. This is due to the enthusiasm and commitment of our Director of Music, Mr Richard Elliott. Well done Mr Elliott on this result and on all of the other successes that our pupils are currently enjoying the individual classes at Marlow! Pupils selected to appear in “Annie” Congratulations go to Georgia Patel in form 2GW and Rebecca Maguire in form 4A who have both secured parts in the production of “Annie” which will be performed later this month at The Wycombe Swan. We look forward to hearing more about their performances in due course and I know that many of our pupils have tickets to attend one of the performances. High March Website Just a reminder that a letter went home today announcing the launch of our new website at www.highmarch.co.uk .
