Steers over 550kg sold to 159c/kg and averaged 143c/kg, while steers in the 400-550kg sold to 147c/kg and averaged 132c/kg. The Sullivan family, Studley, Roma, sold Angus-cross steers to 159c and 152c/kg for 678kg to return $1031/head. The Gray family, Highview, Surat, sold Charolais steers to 154c for 653kg to make $1007. Colin Joliffe, Landreath, Amby, sold Santa steers to 154c for 581kg to return $897. Hendon Park Pastoral Co, Waldrona, Roma, sold Santa-cross steers to 147c for 615kg to return $905. Kilmorey Cattle Co, Kilmorey, Mitchell, sold Droughtmaster-cross steers to 147c for 578kg to make $851. Heifers over 450kg sold to 130c/kg and averaged 122c/kg, while heifers in the 350-450kg category returned 128c/kg and averaged 112c/kg.
