Noel York, Yorkaringa, Wallumbilla, sold 105-day grain accredited Hereford steers to 163c/kg for 618kg to return $1008/head. The Turner family, Rangoon, Roma, sold Brahman-cross steers to 161c for 522kg to return $841. Heifers over 450kg sold to 135c/kg and averaged 125c/kg, while heifers in the 350450kg sold to 140c/kg and averaged 122c/kg. Golden Grazing, Potters Flat, Yuleba, sold Santa-cross heifers to 140c for 448kg to return $628. Gordon Johnson, Sunnymead, Roma, sold Angus-cross heifers to 121c for 408kg to return $494. Cows over 500kg peaked at 130c/kg and averaged 117c/kg, while cows in the 400500kg class topped at 130c/kg and averaged 106c/kg. Cows 300-400kg sold to 110c/kg and averaged 85c/kg.
