STABLE Cardiac Friday, October 21, 2011 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Avera Education Center – Classroom 2 810 E. 23rd St., Sioux Fall, SD Program Goal: This program will provide general guidelines for the assessment and stabilization of neonates with suspected congenital heart disease. Upon completion of this activity you will be able to: 1. Perform proper physical assessment exam of neonates with congenital heart disease (CHD). 2. Perform proper physical assessment exam of neonates with congenital heart disease (CHD). 3. Evaluate and stabilize neonates with CHD. 4. Recognize the STABLE program in relation to the cardiac module.
