The next regular meeting of the Regional Planning Advisory Committee is scheduled for
1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3rd in the Council’s Conference Room.
Agenda
1.
Sea Level Rise Project - TBRPC staff have been tasked, as an EPA sub-grantee, to
complete a sea level rise study that seeks to identify potential land use impacts
within the region based on sea level rise data (estimates) provided by EPA. A
most critical component of the study will be incorporation of local planner input;
especially in identifying the likelihood of land use protection. RPC staff will give
a brief overview of the study and the anticipated timetable for completion.
2.
Fiscal Impact Analysis Model - Update on statewide training efforts and FIAM
policy initiatives. The tentative FIAM training dates (first round) for the Tampa
Bay region are as follows:

Hurricane Evacuation Study Update - Staff will give a brief presentation on this
important planning effort. The result of this effort will likely lead to new
evacuation zone designations for many areas.
4.
Legislative Roundtable - Bring any scuttlebutt or legislative filings of interest to
discuss. Staff will distribute our latest recap as well.
