Position: Production Manager
(£30,605 - £36,916)
Location: West Yorkshire Zone
Position
Reporting to the West Yorkshire Restoration Manger, the successful applicant will work as a
Production Manager in West Yorkshire looking after a number of industrial Rapid Response staff
in the Zone. To provide supervision and guidance for a team of industrial staff based in West
Yorkshire Zone and deliver works of a high standard with regard to time, cost and quality and to
meet the needs of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
 Manage safety performance to deliver OSHA incident rate improvements.
 Manage and improve performance in areas of public safety.
 Manage the risks of driving for DLO staff to deliver improvements on rate for PVAs
 Reduce sickness rates for DLO staff.
 Support the company goals for continuous improvement in areas of customer service.
 Improve the productivity of DLO teams.
 Manage teams to deliver HV and LV restoration goals.
 Manage teams to deliver on guaranteed standards.
 Manage teams to help delivery of reduced connection times.
 Assisting in managing shift rotas and shift cover
 Assisting in the MIMP forward and reactive environment
Key Competencies
 Quality Control Level 2
 Spoken communication Level 2
 Coaching and Mentoring Level 2
 Finance Level 1
 IT Skills Level 2
 Leadership Skills Level 2
Essential Qualifications and Experience
City and Guilds 232 Qualification or equivalent
Must have experience of any recognised trade background, ie Jointer, Linesman, Rapid or
electrical fitter.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
NRSWA accreditation
NEBOSH qualification
ILM Level 3 or ONC Electrical Engineer
Previous man management experience
Low voltage switching authorisation
