Position:
Business Improvement Process Analyst – Shared Services
Location:
Shiremoor
£(Salary)
£24,000 - £27,000 per annum, up to 10% performance bonus
Using Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology, support the Business
Improvement Manager by analysing key business processes to identify, recommend and
evaluate opportunities to improve the customer experience and do more for less.
Initially, the successful candidate will be deployed on our Hire 2 Retire business process review
roadmap to create People Operations Shared Services, as well as being involved in other key
business processes as plans develop to create Financial Operations Shared Services.
This is a critical supporting role in the evolution of the Shared Services Development team as
the business begins its strategic journey towards a future Shared Services Target Operating
Model.
Key Responsibilities






Investigate business processes using appropriate continuous improvement
methodologies to identify and recommend feasible options and improvement actions
Document the “As Is” and “To Be” business processes working with relevant
stakeholders to collect process data and knowledge
Identify waste/efficiency savings, quantifying potential benefits in time, cost and
resource as well as output quality
Appraise and evaluate options for the implementation of identified business
processes/system improvements
Document and maintain updates to programme lifecycle and governance framework
reporting
Support Business Improvement Manager within Shared Services to deliver their required
responsibilities, providing analysis, interpretation and evaluation of findings relating to
both “As Is” and “To Be” processes
Qualifications & Attributes
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
 Lean Six Sigma Basic Training
Experience
 Minimum 2 year experience in a similar Analyst role
 Advanced use of Microsoft including Visio, Excel and Powerpoint
 Experience in the planning and execution of process review workshops with results to
include “As Is” and “To Be” process maps; ideally embedded within a Business Process
Modelling methodology
 Ability to carry out deep diagnostics during process reviews whilst able to articulate
the bigger picture





Ability to work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify and
recommend improvements
Clear and articulate communication skills (written and verbal)
Outstanding degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly motivated and flexible to deal with constantly changing demands
Full clean driving license
Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience of operating in an operational financial/commercial environment where
continuous improvement methodologies have been deployed
