Further information on Northern Powergrid is available on our website at www.northernpowergrid.com Directorate Finance Position: Service Delivery Transition Manager – FTC to July 2017 Location: Castleford £(Salary) circa £40,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience + annual bonus subject to completion of targets Position As an integral part of the IT Transformation programme, you will be responsible for the transition of IT services under current and evolving framework agreements. Experience of data Centre relocation activities and transition management skills are an essential part of this role. Working alongside the IT Transformation Project Manager, you will be delivering a planned Data Centre relocation via a detailed project plan and will be transferring support services from one supplier to another whilst minimising business impact. You will manage business and project risks, including supporting the development of contingency plans and have a strong eye for detail, able to identify inconsistencies, assumptions and dependencies to optimise the transition. With a strong technical background you will be able to easily identify and understand the requirements for the successful migration of infrastructure, networks and applications.
