Presentations on Vocations
Imagine that as part of a vocations awareness campaign you have been asked to create a series of teenfriendly multimedia presentations about vocations that will be posted on the diocesan Web site. Your task
is to create three video or audio—or podcast—presentations, each 5 minutes long, to help teens learn
about various vocations and how they might be called.
Your series of video or audio presentations must contain or demonstrate the following:

understanding of the following four concepts
o
We are all called to holiness and to follow the evangelical counsels in our own way.
o
Life in a religious community is characterized by the rhythm of daily prayer.
o
We are all called to be priest, prophet, and king, with Jesus.
o
The ordained ministers of the Church, through the grace of the Holy Orders, use Christ’s
authority to govern, teach, and sanctify the Church.

creative reflection on these main concepts that blends theoretical and practical information

presentations that are appropriate and reflect the maturity and substance of a high school
religious studies course
