Current Events Presentations
As students of Español III you will give presentations throughout the year about
current events in Spanish-speaking countries. All presentations are done
individually, you may not work with a partner.
Presentation Instructions and Guidelines
 You will choose and article from a Spanish news webpage. The article must be
chosen and sent to the teacher TWO class days prior to the presentation
(meaning if you are scheduled to present on a Friday, I need your article by
Monday of the same week). Your article must be approved by me before
you begin your presentation.
 You will create a PowerPoint/Prezi presentation in which you explain your
current event and include background information on the topic (for example, if
your current event is about the US/Cuba trade embargo, begin your
presentation with background information explaining the topic and then
discuss the article).
