Larger Community Foundations 2015 Conference: Big Idea Sessions Call for Proposals Deadline: January 7, 2015 Back by popular demand! We will be hosting another "Big Ideas" segment on Thursday afternoon. Purpose: to present a concept regarding a new and big idea that could be transformative for your community foundation (or others) Objective: to present a big idea concept in Ted Talk format (max 10-12 minutes) plus have colleagues weigh in and provide "quick hit" reactions (5-10 minutes) Criteria for selection: Big Idea presentations should be visionary and conceptual as opposed to fully baked and developed plans or report on results (no "show-and-tell") Big Ideas should be big – potentially game-changing in any area: operations, programs, development, donors, marketing and branding, grantmaking, products and services, etc. These could also be philosophical or "food for thought" ideas not connected to any specific outcome Presentations should fit on 5 slides max or just oral. Each Big Idea round gets a total of approximately 20-25 minutes, including group reaction. Pace will be fast and energetic. We would like to present three Big Ideas … please consider submitting yours! Planning committee members Andrew Swinney and Cleve Justis are leading this effort, please contact them with any questions about content or process. Send a summary of your proposed concept to Amy Daly-Donovan.
