One in five adults has less literacy than is expected of an 11-year-old child. Youth drop-in centre Making large-print books available District 1080 Assembly 2011 Community Service & Vocations Committee Where to next? • In District 1080 we are evaluating: “Is the Dictionaries4Life project making a difference?”. • Felixstowe Clubs have given Dictionaries4Life to all year 6 students in the area • Provides a unique opportunity to investigate how effective project has been • Follow-up research with Secondary School Students on the extent to which they are using Dictionary.
