Terms & Conditions We thank you for your booking and hope that you have a very pleasant stay at “Redlands”. We ask that our guests follow the Terms & Conditions set out below to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay with us. CANCELLATIONS, NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS & REFUND POLICY If less than 14 days notice of cancellation or curtailment is given, or in the event of a non arrival, the full balance due must still be paid. For bookings made during the Peak period, a deposit of £10 per booked night is payable. This is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of cancellation or curtailment of any of the booked nights, this £10 per night charge will be retained. It is regrettable that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of their stay, for whatever reason. Holiday Insurance is recommended. ON ARRIVAL Please call at reception on arrival to pay the balance due, by cash or cheque with valid guarantee card and receive your pitch instructions and Information Sheet. Pitches are available after 12 noon and must be vacated by 11.30am the day of your departure. Extensions beyond 11.30am may be possible, if the pitch is free, at the cost of half a pitch fee. In the event on a non-arrival, unless advised by telephone, the pitch will be re-released the following morning. Please Note – New arrivals will not be permitted after 9pm PITCH DETAILS One Caravan, Motorhome or Tent per pitch with the exception of a pup tent (see below for details). Motorhomes & Campervans are pitched on Hard Standings only. Maximum of 6 people permitted per pitch at any time. Caravans are pitched either on Grass, Tarmac and Grass or ‘All Weather’ gravel pitches. At peak periods we cannot guarantee which type of pitch you will be allocated. Kindly note, that during excessively wet weather, it may not always be possible to park your car next to your caravan (grass pitch) or tent. Likewise, those with a second car may have to park it in the Visitors Parking Area. The electric hook-up supply is 10amp/2000watts. TV reception is “Digital” in this area. Motor boats are not permitted to be parked at the pitch. Sailing boats/dinghies will be permitted, if space allows. NO FIRES or wood burning allowed. BBQ’s to be extinguished after cooking. NO NOISE or disturbance after 11.30pm VEHICLES AND SPEED The Speed Limit on the Park is 5mph (equivalent to Walking Pace please) Our guests’ safety is paramount. The Park is a pedestrian area and they have right of way. There is plenty of open space for children to play and they are therefore not permitted to play/cycle on any of the roadways or around the facility block. Please note that we do not accept Vans, Minibuses, Commercial Vehicles or sign written vehicles. GROUPS We only accept groups & parties of 3 or more units known to each other, (even if booked individually) by prior agreement only. In any event, such groups cannot be entertained at Bank Holiday Weekends and High Season School Holiday periods. Due to safety and lack of space, Motor Boats are also not permitted during these times. DOGS Please keep your dog tethered on a short lead at all times, even at your pitch. Use the designated exercise area only rather than around the Park. Please clean up after your dog and use the bin in the Dog walk. Do not leave the dog unattended in your unit at any time. No dangerous breeds or rottweilers permitted. Max 2 dogs in High Season. AWNINGS/ANNEXE ADDITIONS, PUP TENTS, UTILITY TENTS etc Breathable groundsheets only with no mats on top please. Awnings that are either to be used for sleeping in, or that measure more than 3.5 metres, inc ropes, from the side of the unit will require an “all weather” gravel hard standing pitch. Please also advise us before arrival if you have a campervan with an awning that attaches to the rear of the unit as we have limited pitches that are suitable. Motorhome/Campervan awnings must be purpose built ie, not tents. Only one additional awning annexe permitted per unit, to be placed at the rear end of the unit. Pegs must be no longer than 12”/ 30cm due to underlying electric cables and water pipes. Pup tents must be pre-booked and no bigger than two berth for the use of members of the same family unit. No additional Utility/Cooking tents or units permitted. TENTS The tenting area offers two generous sized pitches. Large Pitches take tents with a max width of 8 metres, to include ropes & outside “living area”, with an additional car parking space adjacent to the tent. Between each pitch is a clearly marked “fire gap” so that your personal space and safety is not compromised. Superpitches are for extra large tents or those who would like more space and privacy. These pitches are individually fenced off. It is imperative that the correct size pitch is booked, to avoid disappointment. VISITORS If you intend to have Visitors during your stay please advise them to call at Reception to sign the Visitors Book and be shown where to park. A Visitors Charge may apply. No Vans or commercial vehicles permitted. We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these conditions or in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the Park immediately. 23/4/11
