OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support the Senior Manager Financial Planning in providing flexible modelling and
forecasting capabilities and reporting of forecast results to key stakeholders including
Board, SMT and product team levels
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES





Support the Senior Manager Financial Planning in maintaining, developing and
documenting the forecasting models
Coordinate with product teams to understand their modelling and ensure robust
processes to incorporate their key assumptions and sensitivities into the forecasting
modelling
Support the Senior Manager Financial Planning in scenario modelling
Reporting of forecasting results to key stakeholders
Support the Financial Planning team in the development of business cases and
change initiation in liaison with product teams
RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS

Reports to the Senior Manager Financial Planning
Liaises with product teams, Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting

Strong analytical and modelling skills
Advanced Excel skills
Some forecasting experience preferred

Qualified or part qualified accountant preferred
Some experience of managing budgets and forecasts in the context of
Parliamentary and Departmental spending controls would be desirable
