What factors affect sustainability of an ecosystem? Extensions to the biosphere 7-8 Science 10 is a course designed to engage students with a realistic approach to daily modern science concepts. Emphasis will be placed on discovering, analyzing, interpreting and applying the biological, physical, chemical and geological science to everyday life. Evaluation: Classroom/Lab work= 20% Projects/Assignments=25% Tests= 25% Exam= 30% It is very important that parent(s)/guardian(s) are kept informed about your courses and the expectations placed on you by your teachers. Please take this course syllabus home and have it signed. Assignments will be posted on gradebook when they are assigned and once each assignment is corrected each mark will be put in accordingly. Homework, tests, projects and assignments will be posted on Strait-Up along with the course outline. If a student passes work in late they will lose 10% of the value each day after the due date. If absent it is the responsibility of the student to come and see me about what homework or assignments may have been missed or check strait up. My room is always open for students who need any help.
