Rubbish and Recycling Holiday Pickup Schedule
On Saturday, September 5th and Monday, September 7th, in the observance of Labor Day
the Woonsocket Recycle Facility, located at 943 River Street will be closed.
Also closed on Monday, September 7th is the Rhode Island Resource Recovery
Corporation (Central Landfill) in Johnston.
Curbside pick-up of rubbish and recycling for the week of September 7th to September
11th will be delayed by one day.
Residents are reminded that any overloaded trash cart(s) or recycling cart(s) placed at
curbside will not be collected. In those cases, it is the responsibility of the property
owner or tenant to properly dispose of the waste at their own expense.
