Presenters Dr Henry Lerm is an attorney with a wide range of knowledge both in practice as well as academically. He has been involved at the School for Legal Practice at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University since its inception. He has lectured there in both procedural subjects as well as substantive law, including Constitutional Law. Dr Lerm has presented legal training for attorneys on behalf of LEAD in Contract Law and Medical Law. Professor Nan van den Berg is an Honorary Professor (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) and Professor Emeritus. His LLD thesis concentrated on interpretation of statutes and legal language. As expert in legislative drafting, he initiated the Commonwealth Secretariat drafting programme in the South Pacific, and has trained officials of about 25 countries in drafting skills and statutory interpretation.
