Pavilion Dance South West Digital Marketing Coordinator Job role and description The primary purpose of the Digital Marketing Coordinator is to provide dedicated digital support across the organisation, acting as a champion for digital marketing and helping others understand the opportunities it presents. The role will help refine and deliver Pavilion Dance South West’s digital marketing and social media strategies and take particular responsibility for the on and off line promotion of the organisation’s learning and participation programmes. Responsible to: Head of Marketing and Development Works closely alongside: Marketing Coordinator Fundraising Coordinator Learning and Participation Manager Youth and Education Coordinator Salary range: Terms: Hours: Base: £14,500 - £17,500 pro rata Part time permanent contract 22.5 hours per week Pavilion Dance South West, Bournemouth Key Responsibilities: Digital Marketing Website Coordinate the development and collation of new digital content for the website – working with internal and external stakeholders to produce copy, blogs, and videos, under the guidance of the Head of Marketing and Development Liaise regularly with website designer and provider, LexisClick, to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Pavilion Dance South West website. Duties include, but are not limited to, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing content requests and updates, creating new pages and content, editing content for house style and trouble-shooting basic technical issues Research, Analytics & SEO Undertake market research, data collection, monitoring of Google analytics, analysis and evaluation to improve SEO and inform the development of the organisation’s digital marketing and social media strategies Keep up to date with new developments, platforms, best practice and research connected to digital marketing and share this with colleagues Social Media Support the Head of Marketing and Development in the development and delivery of the organisation’s social media strategy Increase Pavilion Dance South West’s Facebook and Twitter feeds as well as developing the organisation’s presence on other social media platforms Deliver specific marketing or fundraising campaigns as requested by the Head of Marketing and Development Champion social media within the organisation and be the first point of contact for related enquiries Assist with the development of brand guidelines for digital and social media Audience Development Support the development and implementation of an audience development strategy to build audiences and the level of their engagement for and with the professional programme of performances and classes Use and contribute to the development of the organisation’s database, PatronBase, and maximise the effective capture and use of audience data Research existing and potential audiences and build local knowledge and segmentation expertise Promotion and Marketing Support the promotion and marketing of the learning and participation programme in order to maximise audiences and engagement, working closely with the Learning & Participation Manager and alongside the Marketing Coordinator Take specific responsibility for selected marketing campaigns, as specified by the Head of Marketing and Development, utilising a range of marketing tools Work alongside the Marketing Coordinator to deliver the print schedule – produce and effectively distribute promotional materials and print and share responsibility for quality, accuracy and timeliness Identify and implement opportunities for cross promotion of Pavilion Dance South West activities in association with other cultural providers and partners and support the Venue Manager in the marketing of Pavilion Dance spaces for external hires and events Support Pavilion Dance South West’s fundraising objectives by sharing information with colleagues within the marketing and development team and assisting with the marketing of new fundraising programmes Other Duties Work flexibly across the Marketing and Development team where required to support priorities and administrative requirements Be aware of, and actively implement the organisation’s policies with regard to, for example, Equal Opportunities, Child Protection and Diversity Attend staff & other relevant meetings and participate in training and other forms of staff development and be available to work at evenings, weekends and bank holidays when necessary Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by your line manager Person Specification The post holder will be an energised self starter, ideally with an arts or cultural sector marketing background and a desire to explore creative marketing and communications tools which actively get our message onto the street.
