Seniors – Yearbook information 2015-2016
Dates and information to remember:





Portraits from outside photographer are due by Friday, November 13, 2015.
Baby pictures with QUOTE(s) are due by Friday, November 13, 2015.
Lifetouch Photos date Monday, October 19, 2015 and Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
Retakes will be ONLY on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
Senior Recognition Ads are on a first come – first serve basis, so get yours early!!!!
Senior Portrait Information:
*All seniors are REQUIRED to have their portrait taken with Lifetouch on the picture days in the
LGIR.*
Even if you decide to use an outside photographer, only seniors with an existing photo from Lifetouch
will be allowed to submit and exchange their additional picture.
There is no sitting fee charged and the picture in the yearbook is submitted at no charge as well.
Packages will also be available for you to purchase if you are interested.
If a senior decides to use an outside photographer, here are the guidelines that must be followed.
Accepted:






submitted in an electronic format – picture CD or flash drive name of senior clearly marked on
the disk and the cover or on the flash drive
jpeg file with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi – size 2.5” x 3.5”
only head and shoulders in the photo
a traditional grey or blue background
photos submitted before November 6, 2015
appropriate SCSD attire
Not accepted:





portraits that contain hands, hats, props, sunglasses, or dates
background color other than grey
photos submitted after November 13, 2015
snapshots or hardcopy photos
portraits with spaghetti straps, bare shoulders, revealing neck lines, etc.
Appropriate dress is required for all photos. The yearbook is a permanent document highlighting a
senior’s experience. We hope that students will take pride in that and go beyond on the days of pictures
and dress nicely. Our intent is to produce the highest quality yearbook that exemplifies the academic
achievement of our students. The yearbook reserves the right to deny any senior photo deemed
inappropriate.
Welcome Class of 2016 to a very important time in your life!!! This is when you make decisions that will
affect you for years to come and we are doing our part to jam pack this time full of great experiences and
happy memories that you can look back on and enjoy for a time long after you leave this building. This
will be an extremely busy year with many different events celebrating your milestones and contributions
to Nottingham. We are looking forward to:

Senior Ball
Senior After-Prom Party
Senior Yearbook
Senior T-Shirt
GRADUATION!!!!
To make these experiences as great as they can be, money and effort is required. Planned are some events
that will bring in a lot of money, all involving the Nottingham community. This not only includes the
senior vs staff volleyball and basketball games in the fall, but also a school wide talent show in the spring.
The money raised from these fundraisers will all go towards the planning and completion of our
scheduled events.
The Class of 2016 will have three (3) packages available to choose from.



The first includes all activities/functions mentioned above. The cost is $200 (some of you have
already paid half of this cost in your junior year).
The second package does not include all the activities above, but does include the cap & gown,
senior bar-be-que, and more. The cost is $75.
The third package includes only the cap & gown and graduation picture. The cost is $25.
There will be a few busy months ahead so we really need participation on all accounts. To be more
