Dear Senior Parents and Friends,
The staff of the Black and Gold invites you to purchase an ad in the latest edition of the R. J.
Reynolds yearbook, Black and Gold. Senior ads often include baby pictures, recent pictures,
meaningful quotes and messages from family and friends. The ad you purchase will appear in the
yearbook, which is scheduled to arrive in May. Prices are based upon the size of the ad. This
year, again, our book will be completely in color! Prices and sizes are listed below.

Please refer to the sizes above to make certain your photos and text will fit in the space
purchased. Please construct your ad as you would like for it to appear in the yearbook on a
separate sheet of paper, or digitally.
A few things to keep in mind:
 Make sure your pictures will fit in the space provided in the ad you purchase.
 Do not send one of a kind pictures, send copies, we cannot guarantee the return of
pictures after we have sent them to the publisher.
 Arrange the photos and text as you would like for them to appear in the book.
 If you are taping or gluing pictures, make certain they are firmly attached, so that
they do not get separated from the ad.
 Please make note of any specific instructions regarding your ad.
If you are interested in purchasing an ad, please complete this form and return it with the ad
artwork. You may turn in a hard or digital copy. You must also submit payment, if you are
paying by check the check should be made payable to R. J. Reynolds High School, to Mr. Allen
in room 210 or in his box in the office by October 14th. Payment must be via check or cash.
Senior ads will be placed in alphabetical order in the ad section of the yearbook. If your ad is
turned in after October 14th, your ad will have to be placed at the end of the section.

**According to school board policy, we cannot accept any ads or photos showing or
referring to prohibited substances, including tobacco. Mr. Allen, our sponsor, has the
right to edit or refuse any material deemed inappropriate.**

and return to Mr. Allen in room 210 or in his box in the RJR
Main Office.
