North Greenville University Dress Code for Work-Study Students Appropriate Dress The following is considered appropriate dress for work-study students working inside offices on campus: Golf shirts with collars, casual blouses, casual slacks, nice jeans in good condition (no holes), casual skirts, dress/sport shirts, dress pants, sport coats, blazers, sweaters, loafers, deck shoes, well maintained sneakers, low-heeled shoes, boots and women’s sandals . Inappropriate Dress The following is not considered appropriate dress for work-study students working inside offices on campus: Tee-shirts/sweat shirts, tank tops or spaghetti straps, sweats or jogging suits, shorts, flip flops, short skirts, spandex, hats, sunglasses, and frayed/holey clothing. In addition, it is not acceptable to wear clothing showing cleavage or any midriff or have any under garments showing. Likewise, body piercings are NOT permitted. Exceptions The following departments are excluded from the above student dress code due to the nature of the work (outside and manual labor jobs) performed but students must discuss the appropriate dress code with their supervisor in these areas: (1) Athletics Department; (2) Student Services Department; and (3) Maintenance Department. *Exceptions can be made by supervisors in any department based on the type of work being performed by student workers.
