Rhein Chemie Additin RC 4242 is a lubricant corrosion inhibitor additive based on an overbased calcium alkylbenzene sulfonate and is mainly used as an extreme pressure additive with corrosion protection properties.
Due to its high total base number (400 mg KOH/g), Additin RC 4242 is an excellent acid scavenger. Additin RC 4242 is recommended for use in metal working fluids, engine oils, rust preventative oils, and greases.
Rhein Chemie Additin RC 9300 is an ashless multi-functional oxidation, rust and wear inhibiting additive package for anti-wear hydraulic fluids and compressor oils with anti-wear properties.
Additin RC9300 is ideally suited for use in ashless hydraulic fluids for which the following high performance demands are required:
 Very high oxidation stability (extended service life)
 Very high load capacity
 Good demulsification
 Good corrosion protection against steel and non-ferrous metals
 Good filterability
 Excellent thermal and hydrolytic stability
Additionally, Additin RC 9300 is ideally suited for formulating compressor fluids with anti-wear properties based on high quality mineral oils as well as PAO and PAO/ester mixtures.
