Directors Absent: Michelle Delfino, Joe Coviello. Meeting Called to Order – 7:01 p.m. Quorum was present. Pledge of Allegiance led by Ed Lucas Next board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., May 21, 2015 at Georgianna UMC Classrooms. All HOA members are welcome to attend. Ed welcomed all attendees and thank them for taking the time to participate in the meeting. He recognized that we are all busy and that it takes an extra effort to be part of the decision making. There were no committee reports available. Treasurer’s report will be made at the next meeting. There are 10 homeowners who have yet to pay their dues and 5 who paid late without including the late fee. The Treasurer will send out initial letters asking the homeowners to comply with their financial requirements. OLD BUSINESS: The bridge deck to Watermill has been completed and all in attendance approved of the result. NEW BUSINESS: Website needs updating. Bernie Nicholson will get the passwords from Ed and begin her redesign and updating. Bill Strawn will make sure she has copies of the meeting minutes for inclusion. Gary Brown and Joe Coviello will conduct the annual neighborhood assessment and report back to the board and the ARC. A review of the community dock will be part of the assessment. Request to convert the mulched area in the common area behind 2626 Trails at Hidden Harbor to grass was approved. Ed will contact Paradise Landscaping to perform the work. Bill Strawn stated he has spotted an alligator approximating 7 feet long in the pond between High Point CT and Rocky Point Way. It swims up to the gazebo when you walk to the end and appears to be waiting for food. He suspects someone is feeding the fauna in the lake, and is concerned the larger of the two alligators spotted may become a nuisance. Ed Lucas will give Bill the phone number of the FWC contact for their assessment of the situation. Susan Frederick brought up the condition of the white picket fence on the south end of the neighborhood along S. Tropical Trail. It needs power washing and small repairs. Ed will look into this. Board Members’ Roundtable: Discussion concerning allowing white picket fence versus shadowbox on lots that while not on lakefront, have some degree of lake view. Floor stated it would be an issue for the ARC instead of board. No motion made. Community garage sale is Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Flyers have been passed out, neighborhood sign posted at entrance, and signs will be placed on S. Tropical Trail Saturday morning. Anyone with items not sold can place them at foot of their driveway at 2 p.m. and local charity will pick them up. Questions from floor: Josh Nicholson asked about neighborhood picnic. Board responded maybe in fall after cools off. All members being satisfied, the meeting was adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
