Role Specification Conservation Laboratory Technician Reporting to Research Scientist Role Purpose To undertake laboratory DNA analysis, as well as helping with the day to day running of the WildGenes laboratory facility, part of the RZSS Conservation department. As a member of Conservation department, the post will contribute to the development of the Society in achieving its Mission and Aims. To undertake DNA extraction, amplification, analysis and archiving of samples, as required. To assist with maintenance of a hygienic and organised laboratory following RZSS policies and procedures to meet or exceed agreed standards.
