Dear prospective student,
For the academic year 2016-2017, the HAN Institute of Applied Sciences employs a
decentralized selection procedure for its candidates in addition to registration via
www.studielink.nl. The procedure requests candidates to submit three documents
(application assignment) before 21 March 2016:
1. A letter of motivation (criteria font Arial, font size 11 and a maximum of 500 words,
see for more information ‘I motivation letter’).
2. A full CV (see for more information ‘II (format) CV’).
3. Most recent list of grades.
Please submit the complete application assignment in time. These documents should be
forwarded to:

For students with an address outside the Netherlands, this application procedure may result
in a subsequent Skype application interview with one of our lecturers. Students with an
address inside the Netherlands, they will be invited for a selection day.

Your letter should be written by yourself in appropriate English illustrating the following
points:

What is the reason you wish to study at HAN University of Applied Sciences – Institute of Life
Sciences? Describe your answer.

What do you find so attracting in your dream job?

Describe yourself as a student.
