ELTC Teaching Assistant (ELS) 2013 TEFL Classroom Assistants (voluntary) Classroom Assistant – Teaching English as a Foreign Language Meet international students, enhance your intercultural communication skills, improve your own English language knowledge, and gain classroom experience in an EFL environment, by volunteering as a Classroom Assistant on the University’s English Language Support Programme. Ideal for native English speakers, or those with an IELTS 8.0+, interested in teaching, language, and other cultures, and particularly to prospective TEFLers. You will receive initial and ongoing training, and commit to a total of 17-20 hours engagement. There is a formal application process for this role.
