The senior financial systems analyst acts as a key liaison between the business users and IT in delivering
high quality financial solutions for Children's Hospital Colorado. This position will also support the
development of new Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions using Hyperion Planning,
Oracle Essbase, and FDMEE integrated with PeopleSoft, Kronos, EPSi, EPIC, and additional financial
source systems.
1. Manage development lifecycle for small to medium size projects related to data integration and other
finance management systems. This includes:
a. Manage, prioritize, and document business requirements from appropriate stakeholders.
b. Design and assist in building new financial solutions leveraging product and industry standards.
c. Assure quality of design and integrity of data based on comprehensive testing of solution and attention
to detail.
d. Work closely with internal and external resources to creatively problem solve and coordinate issue
resolution;
e. Plan and execute delivery and rollout of new solutions throughout organization.
f. Coordinate closely across application owners to continuously improve application integrations to ensure
high quality cost effective solutions.
2. Responsible for ongoing production support for all financial system applications including interface
support, security configuration and setup of new users.
3. Support the design and build of reporting and analytic capabilities across the CHC organization utilizing
Oracle EPM solutions.
4. Maintain excellent communication with all levels of management, be responsive to customers, and
provide appropriate mentoring, training and cross-training to other team members.
5. Assist Manager and Director of Financial Management Systems in tracking progress, prioritizing work,
developing time estimates and work plans. This includes communication of status and notifying manager of
issues that impact productivity or ability to meet expectations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting and configuring financial systems including
Oracle Hyperion Suite and have a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and terminology. Healthcare
industry experience preferred.
Ideal candidate will also have experience in configuration of Kronos, EPSi, Peoplesoft, and EPIC.
Accounting or Finance experience preferred.
