Duties and Responsibilities: The Operations Research Specialist plays 4 important roles: 1. Designing algorithms to convert client questions and datasets into insightful answers 2. Coding algorithms using Python for demonstration, ad-hoc analysis, and small-scale production 3. Guiding professional programmers in understanding and constructing complex production-ready analysis 4. Functioning as a subject matter expert for diverse projects across the firm Qualifications: The Operations Research Specialist is an entry to mid-level position for applicants with a mathematically inclined mindset and a passion for working with large data sets. We seek Specialists with strong data problem solving skills and a track record of achieving results, as well as a desire for the personal impact that can only be found within a boutique organization.
