After the harvesting of rabi crops farmers are advised for deep ploughing for soil solarization. Owing to the increase in temperature and thereby increase in evapotranspiration (7-8 mm/day), the water requirement of summer crops will also increase, hence it is advised to irrigate the crops/ vegetables frequently as per requirement. Weather conditions are suitable for proper germination of summer green gram; hence it is advised to prepare the fields after harvesting of wheat/ gram and complete the sowing of green gram at the earliest. To avoid fruit dropping in mango, farmers are advised to spray NAA 20-25 mg/litre water or Planofix 2 ml and Kerathane 2 g/litre water at 15 days interval. Besides these the fruits of mango and sapota are at development stage, hence farmers are advised to irrigate the trees at 8-10 days interval.
