For this assignment, students will be required to complete a science research report for a total of 400 points. The grading rubric can be found below. All reports must be turned in inside a clear report cover.

REPORT TOPIC: “Living Green”

"Going green" means to pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.

All students will write a four page professional and technical science research report on a specific topic of choice within the general category stated above. All research information must be paraphrased from the original source.

You may NOT copy and paste any information, and doing so will result in a zero on the report.

Grading Rubric

1.

Cover Page & plastic report cover (20 pts) -Title & image. Name, date, period #.

2.

Table of Contents (10 pts)

3.

Research (300 pts) – 4 full pages with no plagiarism and little to no grammatical and spelling errors.

- Intro and background info on topic

- Construction and engineering of the green concept technology

- Connection to the field of science

- Impact on modern society (changes since the development & positive and negative influences.)

4.

Images of topic (40 pts) – minimum of 2 computer generated pictures

5.

Bibliography (30 pts) – minimum of 4 valid research sources used to gather information. Refer to the following website www.bibme.com
