A second focus is on how the trainee is aware of personal dynamics and assumptions, how s/he is working within the therapeutic relationship and reflecting on the therapeutic process, within ethical and professional standards. There will be a multi-disciplinary focus in the groups. Schools to be included are Systemic, Existential, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Gestalt. However, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) will not be included. There will be a contextual focus, which will include looking at how culture and traditions affect the work. This includes the personal context of the client, and the context of the field. When relevant we will consider the impact of psychiatric diagnosis and psychometric assessments on both the client and the therapist's way of being. 3 The training supervision serves to integrate the theoretical and practical aspects of the education of the practitioner. Throughout this training supervision you will 1) Become more able to question your motivation in your interventions with clients. 2) Develop openness and learn how to use supervision effectively and give and receive professional, timely, and appropriate feedback to your peers. 3) Become more autonomous as a practitioner. 4) Develop a more grounded professional identity.
