The Company invites applications for the following field based positions in Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab:
TECHNICIAN (OPERATIONS)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical or Mechanical or Electrical or Power
Technology from the Board of Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years experience in operating Gas processing / Petrochemical plant and machinery such as gas turbines, centrifugal and PD compressors, diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, cooling water system, LPG / NGL equipment and gas dehydration units.

Well versed with DCS / PLC control systems. Out of total experience minimum 2 years experience of process control as control room operator / technician is required. Should be able to trouble shoot process deviations and handle emergencies during plant operations.

Good working knowledge of plant safety systems and permit to work system.
TECHNICIAN (PRODUCTION)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Petroleum or Mechanical Technology from the
Board of Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Exploration and Production company experience in supervising and performing daily inspection of wells and their safety system including carrying out routine maintenance.

Recording well head pressure and operating parameters of cathodic protection systems, etc. in order to ensure smooth well operations.

Experience of BHP Survey, well testing, PLT, stimulation, slickline, wireline, coiled tubing & well completion operations on oil and gas wells.

Experience in redressing of X – Mas Tree, SSV, SCSSV, chokes and pipeline valves.

Familiar with permit to work system.
TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology from the Board of
Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of Gas processing / Petrochemical plants and equipment.

Perform breakdown maintenance and scheduled / preventive maintenance of rotary / reciprocating machines, gas engines and stationary equipments using safe techniques and work shop processes as per OEM recommendations.

Sound knowledge of gas engines and reciprocating compressor overhauling and troubleshooting is required.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning software, preferably SAP.

Familiar with Annual Plant Turnaround maintenance planning and execution.
TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENT)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical or Electronic or Instrument
Technology from the Board of Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years experience of scheduled / breakdown maintenance of Gas processing /
Petrochemical plants, relating to electrical and electronics instruments and equipments including DCS, PLC, ESD systems, Pneumatic control units, SCADA, control panels / devices, protection relays, HV/LV switchgear, transformers, cables, etc.

Test and calibrate E&I equipment.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning software, preferably SAP.
TECHNICIAN (SLICK LINE)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Petroleum or Mechanical Technology from the
Board of Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production company in carrying out jobs for rectification of problems associated with downhole equipment and tubing strings.

Retrieve problematic SCSSV and re-run it after necessary redressing.

Investigate wells for possible CIV / SSD / Tubing-Annulus communication.

Capable of replacing damaged hanger neck seals taking care of all safety measures.
TECHNICIAN (WORKSHOP)
Qualification

3 years diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical or Power Technology from the
Board of Technical Education.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years experience of maintenance of HVAC system alongwith water / desert coolers .

Capable of performing general machining work on lathe / drill machine / metal cutting / welding / grinding.

TECHNICIAN (OPERATION THEATRE)
Qualification
Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized / reputed institution.
Job Profile / Specifications

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a major hospital maintaining sterility of operation theatre and ensuring that instruments are in optimum working condition.

Carryout First Aid procedure before surgery.

Prepare patients for surgery and ensure that patients are safely returned to their rooms after their procedures, etc.
GENERAL
Candidates should be familiar with ISO, Quality Management Systems and Environmental
Management Systems. Maximum age limit for all above positions is 40 years.
Candidates should be skilled in use of computers, especially latest software packages related to their area of activity. They are expected to possess initiative, innovativeness and good interpersonal skills.
Applicants meeting the requirements of qualification and job specifications are required to appear for a written test (NAT 1E) to be conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) on 20
January 2013. Candidates who have applied previously may apply afresh.

latest by 05 January, 2013.
Information about test venue along with roll number slips will be sent by NTS to eligible candidates seven days before test. NTS will upload the results on its website.
Candidates securing minimum 60 percent in the NTS test will be further shortlisted on merit on the basis of number of available positions and called for interviews accordingly.
Applications sent directly to PPL in contravention of prescribed procedure will not be entertained.
Candidates who have obtained a third division in their career need not apply.
