Notes of guidance: it is a QAA requirement that all tutors teaching on the Level 3 Access to
HE diploma hold a Level 4 qualification in all subjects that they teach. This should be a Level
4 qualification in the subject itself, or one that is closely related. Lead Moderators will
monitor this process as part of ensuring that diplomas are being delivered by tutors who are
fully qualified to prepare learners for study at HE level.
