SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER APPLICATION
2013 – 2014 SCHOOL YEAR
There are Advisory Board seats open for the term beginning next school year. If more than four (4) applications are
received and accepted, there will be a School Board Election after all Masses in the Parish Ministry Center the weekend of
May 19 and May 20. Please return written application no later than Monday, April 8, 2013 to Assistant Principal Marcia
Larson c/o School Office or electronic application to sthubertschoolsab@gmail.com
In consideration for submitting School Board application, please note the following:
 School Board Term - Board Member terms are three (3) years.
 School Board Eligibility
- Spouses of salaried St. Hubert School employees are not eligible for Board membership.
- Those currently serving as a member of the Parish Pastoral Council or the Parish Finance Council or as a Family
and School Association (FSA) Officer or Athletic Board Officer are not eligible for Board membership.

School Board Meetings are on the second Thursday of every other month at 7:30 PM in the School Library from
August to June. Attendance is required at School Board Meetings.
 Expectations of School Board Members
- School Board Members are asked to provide constructive feedback and input during Board Meeting discussions,
proactively participate in the planning and /or execution of events, be a part of a team and work in a team
environment.
- School Board Members will participate in recommendations relative to tuition adjustments as well as School
Development, Public Relations / Marketing, Legislative Actions, Grant and Research Writing.
