Salisbury Cathedral ‘Darkness to Light Advent Procession’ Tickets Available
Salisbury Cathedral’s spectacular Advent Procession ‘From Darkness to Light’,
regarded by many as the unmissable start to the Christmas season, takes place this
year on Friday 29 November at 7.00pm and we have been lucky enough to secure
30 tickets for Abbeyfield Students and their parents.
The evening begins with the Cathedral in total darkness and silence as the single
Advent Candle is lit. By the end the whole interior of the magnificent building is
bathed in the light of 1300 flickering candles. Two large and colourful processions
move around the Cathedral during the hour long service which is a mix of beautiful
music and readings.
Tickets will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis so if you would like the
