Maximizing Your R.O.P. – Return on Passion Alumni gathered at the historic Newberry Library in Chicago to connect, learn, and re-energize during a dynamic workshop presented by Mary McGuinness of the Mary McGuinness Consulting Group, LLC. The intention of the workshop is to shorten the distance between “intention” and “action” utilizing the Wheel of Life. We are discovering that we can never fully achieve true life balance in this ever-changing world! However, using the Wheel of Life tool helps us to see the various aspects of life impacting that balance and provides focus to where we are out-of-balance. The workshop was interactive with breakout opportunities to discuss our individual situations with fellow alumni for feedback and direction. At the conclusion, we each shared our class outcome which included clarity, commitments, course direction, and a network of women leaders to support us in attaining our goals! This event was organized by the Alumni Engagement Committee which includes alumni throughout the state who are dedicated to extending the Leadership Illinois experience and comradery beyond the Power series.
