Call for 2011 Homecoming Grand Marshal Nominations
The Board of Directors of the William and Mary Alumni Association is now taking nominations
for the Homecoming Grand Marshal.
As you know, the Homecoming Grand Marshal is an honorary position and nominees should
have special ties to the College. Nominations shall not be limited to alumni, but can include
current and emeritus faculty and administrators, as well as friends of the College. Serving as
Grand Marshal should also bring recognition to the Association, the College and the individual.
The Grand Marshal receives special recognition throughout Homecoming and rides in the lead
car in the Homecoming Parade. Attached is a list of past Grand Marshals which may be helpful
in making nominations.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, February 23, 2011. The Grand Marshal will be
selected during the March WMAA Board of Directors meeting.
