Dear Parents,
Thank you for your commitment and dedication to St.Mary's! This year has been absolutely amazing! I
want to thank our dedicated teachers for their professionalism, energy and enthusiasm. I am so proud of
the teamwork between teachers, parents and students that made this year so very successful. It takes a
village to raise and educate a child, and we have become a remarkably strong village!!!
Five St Mary of the Lake students graduated on Tuesday, June 2nd. Congratulations to our eighth grade
students and their families.

We also had many St. Mary’s alumni graduate from New Buffalo High School last Sunday. Out of 53
graduating high school seniors, 14 were St. Mary’s alumni. Of those 14 students, 10 graduated on the
Academic Honor Roll! 3 of our alumni graduated Summa Cum Laude, 1 Highest Honor, 3 High Honor,
and 3 Honors! We are so very proud of our alumni, and are excited to continue to watch them succeed in
college and beyond.

Congratulations St. Mary’s Graduates!
A Slice of Summer camp and summer daycare registration is underway. Please join us for exciting
summer curriculum and fun-filled activities. See the attached brochure for registration information. All
children ages 2 ½ and potty-trained through 12 years old are welcome! Please call the office to register.
Math Camp is available this summer as well! Algebra 1, for current 8 th grade students only, will be
offered as well as 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math for students who will be in middle school next year.

We want to congratulate Miss Lindsay Jurczak on her engagement to Mr. James McFadden. We wish
them both a lifetime of happiness!

Go now and know that Jesus will be watching over you as you begin the summer months ahead. As you
enjoy God’s summer gifts of warm sun, cooling water and long days, I ask Him to bless you, guide you
and keep you safe. Please remember all that you have learned this school year and keep the gift of faith in
everything that you do. Offer kindess to all that you meet; offer care to those in need. Help others that
they might see God’s handiwork in all that they have around them. May the brightness of the summer sun
and the beauty of its light remind you daily of Jesus’ love for you. Amen.
