Do not argue. 3. Pencil only- anything turned into me must be in pencil or point will be taken off. Grades 1. Grades are made up of two parts Tests and Quizzes (65%) and Homework (35%). 2. Tests are worth the most because they show me what you know at any given time. I will give the test and most of the time you will get it back the next day. If you receive a 91% or better you will get a sticker and be allowed to do an enjoyable activity. If you don’t we will review the hardest questions and the next day take a similar test. I will give you the highest test score. I will sometimes give you pop quizzes to see how the class is doing. 3. Homework is made up of three parts. a. Homework quizzes- instead of checking your work each day you will be given a quiz every once and awhile. All you have to do is copy down what is in your notebook for the problems on the quiz. But, if the work you have is incomplete or wrong you don’t get credit. So, make sure you correct your homework and are able to find it. b. Random checks of assignments before they are corrected. I will look over your assignment and give you up to 5 points for it. c. Test Correction and other assignments- when you take a test you will be given the opportunity to correct any problems that you have wrong and check with me, or someone else, to see if they are right before you turn them in. Test correction count as homework and do not affect the test grade. You may also be given other assignments to be turned in throughout the year. 4. Anything turned into me must be in pencil or points will be taken off. So, just use pencil all the time!!!!!!!
