The Voluntary, Community and Faith Partnership (VCFP) is the representative body and voice for the third sector which includes all voluntary, community and faith groups and covers all of the Oldham borough. The VCFP has now changed its membership criteria so anyone from this sector can join and get involved. Being a member of the VCFP will benefit you in a number of ways. It will: give you the opportunity to raise issues and concerns affecting you and the communities you work with act as a body to consult, identify gaps, shape and influence the planning and delivery of services and advocates on your behalf as a sector. enable you to work together with other groups in Oldham to become a stronger third sector give you a stronger voice as it is now represented on all the key strategic partnerships of the Council including the Oldham Partnership and you have the opportunity to influence decision making mean you receive information on the activities of the VCFP and be invited to attend the meetings and special briefings enable you to join and work through the equality networks and forums to raise specific issues for communities of interest such as Black Minority Ethnic (BME), Disability, Age, Race, Faith, and Sexual Orientation The more groups and organisations that join the VCFP the stronger the voice!
