The Corporate Banking team in Dublin is a team of professionals highly motivated to grow the corporate and institutional business, supported by one of the strongest brand names in the Nordic Region. The team services the bank’s most valuable and complex customers in Ireland within the following customer segments: Corporate and Institutional Banking and International Corporate Banking. We envisage you will gain knowledge of and train in all areas of relationship management and corporate banking in Danske Bank Ireland. And over time you build specialist skills in specific areas of corporate banking and the skills of relationship management e.g. within large corporate, institutional clients or international corporates. Your key responsibilities as a graduate trainee, amongst others, will include: Engaging with Senior Managers to ensure all personal development goals are met through training, coaching and performance monitoring, with exposure to all areas across the business unit Pro-actively engage in open dialogue with colleagues/management on all issues Ensuring high quality service delivery to all internal and external customers Working within all compliance and risk management parameters, as set out in procedures Ensuring all tasks are performed in a timely and accurate fashion. Building a personal network within the Danske Bank Group DO WE MATCH EACH OTHER? You are about to graduate in 2013 or have recently obtained a master’s degree within typically, but not necessarily, finance, economics, accounting, investments, treasury, business etc. You have graduated among the top of your class and have demonstrated outstanding academic results. Work experience within the financial sector would be an advantage. Within Corporate Banking the role requires you to interact with a large number of colleagues and clients globally. It is therefore of utmost importance that you are an open-minded, curious, proactive, extrovert and positive person who likes to interact with other people. You are driven by performance and you seek and find opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and solutions. You are a strong communicator both written and spoken at all levels.
