Order Day
February 21, 2014
SENIORS…you are preparing for the final stages of your high school career!
Friday, February 21 is your Senior Order Day. You will order/pay for your cap
and gowns, order graduation announcements and other Class of 2014
paraphernalia, and take/pay for your cap and gown pictures. Beginning at
12:00, Seniors will be allowed to enter the Auditorium lobby through the
doors near the football stadium. You will be checked in based on an
alphabetical line up and then proceed to the Old Gym for cap and gown orders,
announcements and paraphernalia orders, and the Auditorium for cap and
gown pictures.
*All Seniors who reported to homeroom on January 22 were given information sheets about Senior Order
Day in preparation for Friday.
*If you plan to leave school prior to the end of the day on Friday, February 21, you must turn in the
permission form distributed in homeroom on January 22 to Mrs. Cobb IMMEDIATELY! (Additional
copies are available on Mrs. Cobb’s desk in Student Services)
*You are responsible for all assignments missed on Friday, February 21.
*REMEMBER – you must pay for the items ordered and pictures taken on Friday!
*There will be NO STUDETNS ALLOWED TO ENTER THE AUDITORIUM LOBBY PRIOR TO 12:00
*There is NO MAKE-UP DAY FOR PICTURES
CAP AND GOWN ORDERS
All students are REQUIRED to order a cap and gown if they plan on
participating in the graduation ceremony on June 14, 2014. Students can order
cap and gowns online (see information sheet provided by Jostens) prior to Friday.
To decrease wait time, it is in your best interest to order online and pay with a debit
or credit card. Please keep in mind the date that orders will no longer be processed.
The price of caps/gowns increases a great deal after the date set by Jostens (from
approximately $23 to $75!!! Order your cap and gown ASAP! Cap and gowns will be
delivered around mid April. Once they have been received, an announcement will
be made with pick up instructions.
What to Bring - Know your HEIGHT and WEIGHT to order caps/gowns and
bring cash or check payable to Jostens to cover cost of cap and gown

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Families may choose to order graduation announcements through Jostens. This is
an optional service. Packages are available through Jostens and can be paid
for/ordered online prior to Friday

CAP AND GOWN PICTURES
This is an optional service; these pictures will not be in the Yearbook. Cap and
gowns will be delivered around mid April if your family prefers to have professional
photographs taken by another company. Many companies have sample caps and
gowns from schools in WSFCS, so you may be able to take your pictures prior to the
cap and gown delivery at East Forsyth – check with vendors/companies.
