Dear Parents and Students of the Class of 2015,
Good morning. I hope this email finds you enjoying a wonderful Holiday season with friends
and family. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with some important information
regarding graduation as June will be here quickly!
First, Herff Jones has been selected as the official supplier for caps and gowns for 2015. You
will receive written communication directly from them about purchasing your cap and gown in
the next few weeks. I would like to point out that the caps and gowns are slightly different from
previous years and students will not be permitted to use a cap and gown from an older
sibling. Herff Jones will have representatives at CB South on January 29 and 30 during all
lunches for measurements and orders. PM MBIT student must stop by the cafeteria before
leaving for MBIT on one of these days. Herff Jones will also offer an online payment option but
all orders must be placed by January 30, 2015. Cap and gown packages range from $21.90 to
$50.90, depending on your preferences. Again, look for information from Herff Jones soon.
Next, Balfour will provide information about graduation announcements to seniors through
Titan Forum on January 5, 2015. AM MBIT students will receive this information in third
block. Orders will be collected in the cafeteria during lunches on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Last, please note that your son or daughter's name will appear on the CB South diploma as it
appears in Parent Portal. If you would like to make changes to the name or spelling as listed in
Parent Portal, please email me directly at tbauer@cbsd.org. I will confirm receipt of your
email and handle the changes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email
me.
