Keeping warm in style
As the temperatures are dropping and it is getting colder every day, it is just the right time to look for
a new comfortable pieces to keep warm during winter. In this year’s winter fashion there are plenty
of alternatives to keep the wearer warm in style.
Monton head Designer Piret Puppart says: „This winter looks are mostly inspired by 50’s styles with
hints to Japanese cuts. There are many peplum and robe style cuts that refer to it. Fabric-wize
brushed long-haired fabrics are definite seasonal favourites and they seem to remain so also next
season.“
The wrapped coat is a laid-back style that carries a sophisticated effortless look with an interesting
silhouette. You can choose a more classical colour pallette or fashionable checkered pattern. The
fabric trends favour coats with soft, fur-like, long-fibered texture.
The quilted jackets have a cocoon look that is inspired by modern Japanese styles.
The fur trend is bringing in luxurious details that make the coats look stylish and cozy, adding a great
way to keep the wearer warm in colder climates.
Minimalistic cut with peplum and textile blocks are making a come back from the 50s. It’s feminine
and at the same time romantic.
