Members Guide Introduction This document outlines a few things every member needs to know. Attending a session What to wear / bring No Jewellery, buckles, buttons or zips these damage our equipment (elastic waistbands). Hair tied back out of faces. Use clips if necessary. Always bring a filled water bottle. No Chewing Gum Behaviour Do not “coach” your own child from the side line (we have professionals helping them). Be polite and courteous at all times. Please be a tidy kiwi. Health and Safety It is vital that the club is safe and no one gets hurt or ill. Everyone has a part to play. You can help in the following ways: Inform your coach of any recent injuries. Inform your coach or a committee member of any accidents or near misses in the club. Inform your coach or a committee member of anything you think is not safe. Only use equipment as directed by your coach (no playing on equipment while waiting). Enrolment School terms are used for timetabling and vary in length. There will never be less than 9 sessions per term. There are 2 parts to joining: 1. Becoming a member of the club. You do this once a calendar year and gives you access to all of the sessions that you have the skills and experience for. Before your first session you will need to complete a membership form. 2. Joining a session. There are two ways to participate: a. Join for a term (Full payment is required by week 3); or b. Attend as a casual one session at a time (only available on certain sessions and when space is available). You pay for the session at the start of each session you attend. Making Payments To save on administration we ask that you pay proactively (without an invoice). Your options are (our preference is internet banking as it is easiest for us): 1. Pay by internet banking: Westpac 03-0474-0429298-00. Please use the members name as the reference (your name or your child name – whomever is attending). 2. Eftpos at the club 3. Cash at the club
