Introduction
This is a general document; the degree of relevance depending on the way that your club runs, or plans to run, activities for young people taking part in gliding. Therefore you will need to amend the list of responsibilities accordingly. Please note that some clubs already run activities for juniors on specific days as it makes it easier to arrange for supervision of the participants. For some clubs, it will be necessary to include references to team selection and competition away from the club’s site. (e.g. Inter-club league participation). It all depends on the level of activity and the resources the club has available to support junior members.
The Task Description

Main duties
To take full responsibility for the club’s youth scheme sessions at
Enter Name of Venue on Enter Day(s) from Enter Start Time to Enter End Time .
• To maintain high ethical standards in coaching and prepare all youth scheme sessions in advance.
• To work with and include Enter name(s) of Assistant Coach(es) in the preparation and running of each session.
• To attend youth scheme meetings and report on progress.
• To offer the club feedback on the organisation and degree of success of junior coaching and competitions.
• To assist in the selection of teams.
• To arrange appropriate supervision during travel to competitions for junior team(s).
• To inform the Junior Coordinator in advance of any sessions that cannot be attended.
