SUMMER TOUR 2015
We are taking youth group on tour this summer. We are looking forward to this summer
experience with all of you as we try this idea out again. We had such a good time with it last
summer; we decided to go for it again. Should be fun!
So, what exactly are we doing and what does it look like?
We are going to meet at a different host home each week for the Sundays in July and early
August. We wanted to take the opportunity to get to know some more of the adults from our
church and give them the opportunity to get to know us and see what we do each week at
youth group. Included in the night is a time for our generous hosts to share some of their
story and allow us to interact with them in what they share with us. We will continue to have
game time, worship through singing, and teaching from the Bible, just in a different location
each week.
We will still meet on Sunday nights from 6-8:30. Students may arrive at the church at 5:45
to carpool to our host home each week. They may also arrive directly to the host home at 6
if they wish. Students may be picked up from the host home around 8 or from the church
around 8:30.
