Attention freshman: We will have a class meeting on TODAY during lunch in room 304.

Just a reminder: National Honor Society applications are due by the end of the day TOMORROW.

Seniors: there will be a meeting on April 23 at 11:00 am for seniors interested in helping plan
Baccalaureate services this year. The meeting will take place in the band room.
Attention Sophomores: Just a reminder for those of you who haven’t paid your $12.50 for your
“Security” shirt, please get your money to Mrs. Hellyer as soon as possible. Now that the Vendor
Blender is over it’s time to start planning for prom next year! Anyone who wishes to be on the prom
committee, we will have a meeting on TOMORROW during lunch in room #304.
Attention Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, April 16th after school to deliver your
graduation items. Please make every effort to pick up your items at that time.
Prom Picture Forms can be picked up from the table in front of the office. Please take them to Prom
when you go and give them to the Photographer who takes your pictures.
SADD, NHS, Key Club & Students Council will be hosting events during Volunteer Week: April 6-12th.
Activities include: Food Drive contest, Penny Wars, and T-shirt sales. Students are encouraged to
participate by class in order to “WIN” the grand prize of class dilly bars. Posters and Flyers will be
around after April 2nd. Rules will be posted for the contests after April 2nd as well. There is a schedule
of events for Volunteer Week at the end of these announcements.
T-shirts are on sale for Volunteer Week. Pick up an order form by the office. The class whose members
purchase the most t-shirts add points to their contest total for the week. There is also a form for the
Tshirts at the end of these announcements. Please turn in order forms to Mrs. Shirey or Mr. Peel.
Students: due to excessive speed down the bus lane at the lunch hour, the bus lane will be closed for
an indefinite amount of time. When needing to leave during the lunch hour you can use the exit on
Schofield Street at the northeast corner of the parking lot or the exit on Miller Street at the southeast
corner of the parking lot.
Buy your car decal here. The Illini West Desktop Publishing class can personalize your decal for
$5. See samples in the display case by office. Contact Mrs. Holtsclaw or any Desktop Publishing
student. Order forms available.
SADD is offering a scholarship for a Senior member. Applications are available with Mr. Bliss or Mrs.
Shirey. Deadline for applying is April 16.
Mr. Dion has information for any juniors interested in applying for the position of captain. This will be
for the 2014-2015 Charger football season.
All potential football players! Coach Lafferty and the office have copies of the 2014 football camp
form. Forms due May 1st. Coach Klein

every Monday beginning January 13th. Deandre’s focus this semester will be on financial
